115 years from the death of Iosif Vulcan

September 8th marks 115 years from the death of Iosif Vulcan, the founder of Familia magazine and the one who helped Mihai Eminescu in his debut in Romanian literature. To commemorate this moment, the Țării Crișurilor Museum – Museum Complex Oradea, in partnership with the Art High School, class XI B and with „Onisifor Ghibu” National College, class XI B and D, is organizing, on Thursday, September 8th, at 2 p.m., at the „Iosif Vulcan” Memorial Museum (Iosif Vulcan Street, no. 16), a colloquium dedicated to scholar from Bihor.

The life and activity of Iosif Vulcan will be evoked by teachers Carman Bodiu and Ruxandra Gavra, and by Ioan F. Pop PhD, custodian at the Vulcan museum.

Entrance is free of charge.
