I am you

The Țării Crișurilor Museum – Museum Complex and the Romanian Artists’ Union, in partnership with the Bihor County Council and the Oradea City Hall are organizing the opening of the exhibition of contemporary jewelry entitled Eu sunt tu (i am you), by artist Ana Dobraș. The event will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2023, 17.00 hours, in the Țării Crișurilor Museum headquarters (Armatei Române street, no. 1/A).

“When does a living being become an object? When does the other person become an object? When do I become an object? Can I be a witness and an object at the same time? In what conditions can an object become a living being?” The latest collection of contemporary jewelry Eu sunt tu by Ana Dobraș tries to respond these questions and reveals other ones also.

Speakers at the opening will be: Cornel Abrudan, head of the Art Section of the Țării Crișurilor Museum and dr. Ramona Novicov, art critic and the curator of the exhibition. The event will be accompanied by Rogvaiv’s music.

The exhibition will remain opened to the public until February 5, 2023.
