The Lapidarium
The Lapidarium is one of the permanent exhibitions of Țării Crișurilor Museum, installed in the semi-basement of the building.

The exhibition attempts to present the Romanesque and Gothic church architecture of Bihor county. Visitors can admire some fragments of funeral slabs, frescoes, Romanesque column bases, a decorative Romanesque frieze, as well as many other objects discovered in now ruined monuments of the county. A significant part of the objects have been discovered during archaeological excavations in the Fortress of Oradea as well as at the site named Cefa – Rădvani. The exhibition also includes three-dimensional models of the monuments, TV screens showing images of the churches, a touchscreen, as well as a film abou the Romanesque and Gothic monuments of the county – the latter two in three languages, Romanian, English, and Hungarian.
Entry fee: 8 Lei for adults, 4 Lei for children above the age of 4, students of schools and universities, and pensioners. The ticket grants entry to all of the museum’s exhibitions except the Vivarium.
Entrance is free for children up to 4 years of age, children from children’s homes, war veterans, as well as workers and pensioners of the national museum network.
